Specific criteria vary by scheme and change over time. The list opposite captures the baseline questions most pathways will ask. We'll confirm the current rules with you during scoping.
- Singapore-registered business with at least 30% local shareholding (typical SME criteria).
- A clearly defined project scope with measurable productivity, capability, or growth outcomes.
- Project work that has not yet been committed to or paid for at the point of application.
- Willingness to participate in standard reporting and post-completion evaluation.

Will Bluehive guarantee that we get funding?+
No — and you should be cautious of any consultant who does. We structure your application to be as strong as it can be, but the decision sits with the relevant agency and their prevailing criteria.
Can funding be applied retroactively to work already started?+
Generally, no. Most pathways require the project to be approved before work commences. That's part of why early scoping matters.
Do you only work on funded projects?+
Not at all. Funding is one possible enabler. Many of our most impactful engagements are fully self-funded, where speed and focus matter more than the grant cycle.
Which scheme is best for my business?+
It depends on the project — productivity, capability, marketing, or growth. We'll triangulate during scoping rather than steering you to a scheme prematurely.
